No experience neccessary
As the weather changes - so does our Skills Clinic. We fear no weather and will operate in rain, sleet, cold and snow.
What you need
• Dress appropriately for the weather conditions (rain, snow or cold - we operate in all weather conditions)
• Proper hiking footwear (hiking shoes/boots preferred)
• Water bottle (Nalgene preferred)
Optional
• Small daypack (5-20L)
• Snowshoes/trekking poles
• Head lamp
• Trail snacks
We will provide
• All other equipment required for your experience
• Prepared Backcountry style meal

You will see vehicles parked along side of the road in a long straightaway. You will also pass two parking lots on Pretty River Road, pass them to find us further up the road

Tour Itinerary
Meet and Greet
• Waiver completion, gear distribution and meet your guides and teamates
• Start hike from trailhead
In-Field Risk Management Obstacle
• Complete first obstacle with your guide instructing different group leadership and risk managment considerations
Set up Base Camp
• Tent location and setup, set camp
• Go over route card and navigation, select route leaders within group and pack new gear for hike
• Continue hike from base camp - guests leading
Water Purification stop
• Overview of use on different water purification techniques
In-field Risk Management Obstacle
• Guests lead and overcome river crossing obstacle
Back to Base Camp
• Overivew of stove use, food prep
• Guests cook/prepare meal using techinical backcounty stoves and hardware
Completion
• Share a meal an overview of experience and reflection
